The Improved Backstage Milk and Glass Vanish

BASIC ROUTINE: You invite a spectator from the audience to assist you. Next, you announce that you are going to perform the "The Famous Vanishing Milk Effect" The tube is placed in your hand and you pour the milk from the pitcher into the tube and proclaim. "The Milk Stays In the Tube!" The audience will inevitably demand to see the tube. You lift the tube handing the tube to assisting spectator revealing a full glass of milk which sloshes around in the glass.

Next, You place the glass of milk on a small tray with a velveteen drape. You then instruct the spectator to show the tube empty from both sides and wiggle the wand in the tube showing it absolutely empty. The spectator then places the tube over the glass of milk, you hen command the glass of milk to banish and remove the tube. However, the drape partly falls revealing a hole in the tray and a pocket underneath which catches the glass of milk.

You hastily fix the curtain a proceed to perform the effect again. Once, again, the tube is placed over the glass of milk and lift, shown empty, and glass of milk has vanished.

But Wait!!! The audience demands to see behind the drape. You take the wand from the spectator and poke it down into the hole. The audience will assume you are simply poking the wand into the glass. At the appropriate moment, force the wand lower so it sticks out the bottom of the cloth and dramatically whisk the cloth away with a great flourish throwing it to the audience and spin the empty tray on your wand. The glass of milk has completely vanished. Remember, the tube was shown empty.

The tube, itself is ungimmicked, and can be handed to the spectator who assists you.

The tube is polished galvanized metal and stands 6 1/8" high by 4" wide.

The glass is constructed of durable Plexiglas and stands 6" high by 3 7-8" wide and is leak proof.

The tray is black Plexiglas measuring 12" by 8" with velveteen drape with silver trim.

Acrylic wand is furnished.

Now has wooden frame around tray to hold Velcro securely.
